I wonder why. It appears that 99.8% of ads on TV, in magazines, and any other source of widespread media tells girls to lose weight, get that bikini body, get slim, get skinny…and that is the only way to be beautiful, find love, find happiness, get a job, make money, and live a good life. That is completely false. See this body? Why should the person inside this body want to change it? It’s perfect. Flawless. Incredible. And the media wants it gone. They don’t want to see this body portrayed as beautiful because they don’t find it beautiful. So what? If you want to lose weight, do it for yourself, do it for your health. Do it for you, and only you. Don’t do it to get that cute boy or girl that you want. Don’t do it because it will allow you to fit into those perfect jeans at the mall. Don’t do it for the people that pressure you into losing weight because they believe it’s the only way to be beautiful and happy. We’re all beautiful, and don’t ever let someone convince you otherwise.

Oreo Milkshake Recipe

What You Need!

4 tsp. chocolate syrup 8   OREO Cookies, divided 1-1/2 cups milk 2 cups  vanilla ice cream, softened

Make It!

SPOON 1 tsp. syrup into each of 4 glasses. Roll each glass to coat bottom and side of glass. Finely chop 4 cookies; set aside.

QUARTER remaining cookies; place in blender. Add milk and ice cream; blend until smooth.

POUR into prepared glasses; top with chopped cookies. Serve immediately
